Things I love: Halloween and the Beginning of Christmas at Target

Disclosure: Not sponsored – products highlighted were purchased myself.

Since I am currently living stateside, I am fully taking advantage of Target!

Currently, local Target stores look like Christmas fully exploded with a side of Halloween/Thanksgiving. While I was going to make this only about Halloween, since it looks like the North Pole in there and I can’t help myself, I will also mention a few of the Christmas items I have my eye on.

Halloween is almost here, so now is the time for last-minute shopping for this year or picking up things for next year (especially when they go on sale!). Here are some of the things I picked up this year:

  1. A teal pumpkin: Let your neighbours know you are an allergy-friendly house and are offering food-free treats with one of these. These ones come in two sizes and are carvable(!?) but I am going to put mine out as is. For more information and to add your house to the map of allergy-friendly homes, check out the Teal Pumpkin Project.
  2. Halloween Toys: In support of the Teal Pumpkin Project, I needed small toys to hand out for Halloween in addition to candy. Target has several inexpensive but fun looking toys, such as bubbles, plastic vampire fangs, and combo packs that include plastic spider rings, toys, and slime. With price ranges between $1.00 – $5.00 for packs of these toys, it’s a very cost-effective way to ensure you have something for every kid who comes to your door.
  3. Hey There, Pumpkin” Doormat: I wanted a doormat that would last beyond Halloween until I switched it up to Christmas decor and THIS IS IT. Unfortunately it is out of stock but you can always sign up for in stock notifications and hope for the best!
  4. Cat & Jack Baby Outfits: Cat & Jack has the CUTEST and very cost-effective baby and kids clothing. I got two adorable outfits for Little C this year – a Little Pumpkin set and a “Baby Boo” set. C is 10.5 months and about 18 lbs, and fits the 6-9 month sets perfectly.

And now for Christmas… it is sooo good. HERE WE GO:

P trying out her Magnolia Home bed
  1. Magnolia Home EVERYTHING. It is so classic and beautiful. I picked up some of these potholders for gifts and am tempted to get some for myself! They even have dog beds in this collection! I got one for my home office which P seems to like. We got size large and it fits her (and my space) perfectly.
  2. 2022 Photo Ornaments: These are such a great gift and inexpensive gift especially for grandparents and other family members – include a photo of your child and voila, a special annual memento. They come in two colour options, and Target also has other styles starting at $3.00!
  3. Cat Toys: Do you have kitty friends in your home or on your Christmas list? These dinosaur festive cat toys are super cute and infused with cat nip!
  4. Family Matching Pajamas: These sets from the Wondershop are so cute and come in a few different patterns. They even have outfits for pets and a blanket!

Happy shopping! What is on your Target holiday shopping list?
